I totally agree with you Melissa. I had Charter as my cable service provider a couple of times. The first time I changed to a different provider as I kept getting pay per view charges and they weren't ours. Finally fed up I changed to Community Antenna Service. I was very happy with them. Then a woman came to my house selling the company to me, you'd get this free, and that for this much, yadda ,yadda, yadda.....Ok, so I'm an easy pushover. I liked the deal. Until I got my bill. It was nowhere near what she said it would be. But I paid it. The following months I paid my bills and griped about them not being what they said they would be. I was in the local office nearly every month griping to ears that evidently couldn't hear. So fed up totally I went back to Community Antenna Service. Every month I can make my check out before I even get a bill from them because I know how much my bill will be. I will never ever go back to Charter. No matter if my current provider goes out of business. I'll watch UHF/VHF first. In response to Kisses....no dear all cable companies are not all alike. Check out ((REDACTED)) sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome! Melissa dear, how much is your monthly cable bill? Do you get a bill every month? Do you look at your bill to see what you owe? Do you look at your bank statement to see what checks have cleared? Obviously you were delinquent. We shut off service if customers are 60 days delinquent. It's called bad debt and that's how it is controlled. Maybe you shouldn't have cable when you aren't working, if you keep bouncing checks. I wish i could look up your account number to see what the history is like. And by the way, all cable companies are like this, especially here in CT. Kisses-
