I called the Cable Company to come out and move our cable from one place to the next so I could rearange the furinature in the livingroom. I called them on 11/22/03 around, made an appointment for 11/25/03. The cable man came out and said that he could not move the cable, because we have mice and that it was a health issue, and he could not drill in the house because we have asbestos siding! I did not want it in the siding, I had it in the floor of the livingroom and just want it moved. He said he would not do it!

So I called my exterminators and they told my it was not a health issue, there are traps down there, they go down there. The traps are against the wall. So I called the cable company and spoke to a nice lady name Sylvia and she said that the cable man, deal with worse problems than that but she was going to ask her boss. When she came back on the phone she said that it was not an issue, she was going to try and get someone out there that day, when I called her it was 3:00 Pm.

No one came that day, so on Wednesday, I called the cable company to see when they were coming out! The lady on the phone said that she would call me back. She called back and said that she spoken to the first tech and that they would not come out for we had mice and asbestos siding! I told her I was not happy with that. Because they came out a year in half ago and did it. So I wanted to talk to her boss.

I finally got a hold of him, he called me Wednesday and was right down rude to me, said that no one was coming out and that it was a health issue, I told him my exterminator company said that it was not!! I also called the health Department and they said no Health issues. The Boss was Rick!! I told him I would like to talk to his boss, he said that no one was there! He said that they would call me on Monday!

No one called on Monday, So in the afternoon, I e-mailed them and called. The lady on the phone said someone would call me today. No one called on Monday, Tuesday, now it is Wednesday! So I called them, Sandy was the lady I spoke to she was short with me and gave me to someones voice mail, it was Rick's boss. I left my name and a short messages and still no one calls. It is hard staying home. It is almost Christmas. Please Help if you can.

#2Consumer Suggestion

Sat, December 13, 2003

I install cable. You never know what you might find. As a customer, acctually you are responsible for any of the wiring inside the house. So I guess the question is. Why won,t you go down there. If the wire is long enough, just pull the original down through the floor. Drill a new hole. Push it up through the new hole. If it's not long enough. Purchase a piece of jumper cable, and a barrel fitting to add on to what you already have. Using the same line will save your signal also, and doing it yourself will be cheaper. Seems to me that as much time as you've put into this, you could have been finished by now. Just a suggestion.
