Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I sent in my monthly payment on time for 250.00 which was 64 dollars over what my minimum payment was. They only cashed my check for 150 dollars and charged me a $39 late fee. I called them to tell them this error and told them I would pay the difference next month. The next month, I sent in $350 to make up for the discrepancy from the previous month, then got a letter saying that because I had not made timely payments, my account was in delinquency and that they would charge my account the accrued interest.

When I called to speak with the CSR, they said that I should have sent in a check immediately after I noticed the error. What about actually cashing the check for the correct amount!! They were unwilling to recognize their error or be understanding so I called to corporate office to get the name of the manager which was Cesar Romano.

When I spoke with him on the phone, he was rude and accusingly asked me "why, if I knew they had not deposited the right amount, did I not immediately send in a new check"? Why did they not deposit the right amount in the FIRST place? Finally, they said they would re-instate my account to the no-interest financing but they would have to charge me $49 to do so.

This was unacceptable to me because it was THEIR fault that my account was delinquent in the first place. If they had cashed my check for the proper amount originally, none of this would have happened. I finally got them to take off the $39 "late" fee and agreed to pay $10. They were completely rude and never apologized for making the initial mistake. I will never borrow money from them AGAIN.
