Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Chase raised my interest rate to 29.99% about 12 motnhs ago... I have paid that rate since then (but decided this Nov 06, that since they refuse to work with me- I am refusing to work with them)... Now my prelude to the rate increase-

We had 2 years of back to back hurricanes in Florida.. I called them and asked them to lower my rate and help me through. They said NO- Citibank, Chevron- basically EVERY OTHER CC COMPANY ON EARTH was helpful, to say the least, but not Chase. "NO, ma'am, we've determined you're paying the correct rate." JERKS. (meanwhile, I had never paid Chase late, nor any of my other cards through the entire ordeal)

I continued to pay their insane interest rate, after all- I was a bad consumer for "carrying a balance." (never mind I was trying to take care of a son while all the marinas and boat docks were TORN TO SHREDS HERE, which is where I WORK TO MAKE THE MONEY TO PAY THEM.

In April 06, I was in a car accident. NOT a fender bender, an outright 45 mph impact CRASH. I never bothered to call Chase and tell them of my troubles, why subject myself to their rude and heartless c/s department when I already knew their apparent approach?

I continued to pay my minimum of 200, but this November- I just couldn't do it. I still logged on and made a 100.00 payment on time, but still got a 39. late fee (INSANE) and I couldn't pay them this month.

I answered the phone a few nights ago, freaked out on them, told them how rude and heartless they were- etc.... and they call anywhere from 5-10 times a day. Funny thing- if I called them 5-10 times a day, would it get them to lower my interest rate? Hmmm.....

I have always and WILL ALWAYS pay all my other credit cards on time, because they were human, helped me, and did their best to show they cared while still conducting a business- CHASE- a bunch of PIRATES.

I thought I was alone, until I read page after page of people they did they same exact thing to, all around the same time- seems turning their investors a profit was more important than the LITTLE GUY.... I learned a lot of other interesting facts about them during my research. And to think for almost a year, I thought I was a bad person..... I carried a balance.... shame on me for not being able to withstand 2 years of hurricanes and a car accident, and not pay off my card!

Well, Chase seems to think that kicking the little guy when he is down is a GOOD business practice. Stay away from this company. I finally reached my point, there is no way to change what they have done in my position. All I can do is not pay them,(which I did for the first time this month because I didn't have it, or refused to starve and put insane interet in their pocket) or send what I can- it's funny how much they care and call once you miss a payment-

Chase Bank should be investigated by the government. Loan shark rates are illegal, and just because they do it legally doesn't make it RIGHT. Thanks for the mental stress Chase, and the complete ripoff of funds you have taken from me this past year. Your customer service and business practices SUCK.
