i called them right after i received this e-mail at 12:05pm and inquired about the vehicle quoted in the e-mail.

i spoke with a steve christaldi and he told me they had 2 in midnight blue that they were listed on their web site i told him i would try to get down that afternoon but was busy building a deck at my house and asked what time they closed, he told me they closed at 6pm that evening but they were open at 9am

monday july 4th. later that afternoon knowing that the deck had to be done for a picnic the next day,i called steve back at 5:46pm and we discussed the magnum for $19906, i asked him if they had them in stock as i did not want to drive 40 miles one way to find out the car was not there, he assured me that they had 4 of this model in stock for $19906 and made a 7-4-05 9am appt for me.

when i arrived i was told that the cars were on the other lot up the street and was told that we had to drive there to see them.

in the meantime they took my car keys to evaluate it for trade in purposes.

i drove with the salesman down to the other lot and found the 4 cars but all had sold stickers on them. i said to him "gee whiz you guys have sunday hours?" he said no why? i said well then you must have sold all 4 cars in 14 minutes on saturday because steve told me at that time that all 4 were still available and made the 9am appointment for me and its 10 minutes past 9 right now. he was dumbfounded as i continued to back him in to a corner about what steve had told me.

he said dont worry sir we will take care of you.( yeah right!!)

when we got back to the dealership he went in to talk to some other guy with a foreign accent who i can only assume was a sales manager. this guys said take him out back and we will make

a deal on one of the others.

we walked out back and every magnum they had back there was 26k or better in price and i told the salesman that i didnt need a hemi and didnt want to spend that kind of money.

we went back in side at which time i asked for my car keys back

so i could leave, they hedged, after 5 minutes i asked again for my car keys they then said we are trying to locate a car for you

i said NO and i want my keys back. after waiting another 5 minutes i told my 12 year old son to "watch this"

i walked inside and went in to the back office and said

GIVE ME MY KEYS!!! and they said we are finding you a car

I SAID NO YOU ARENT GIVE ME MY d**n KEYS NOW!!!!

man it was funny to see their faces, they all stopped talking

and everyone looked at me( guess i was louder than i thought,LOL)

the salesman then grabbed a box and said gee i dont see them

i grabbed the box out of his hands and said WELL THAT LOOKS LIKE THEM RIGHT THERE and i snatched them and walked out the best part was the look on their faces. i wish i had pictures

especially after i got loud.

in any case this was my experience with the

cherry hill rippofflex.

i have since filed complaints with the BBB,consumer affairs

and daimler chrysler and have started writing to every place where they advertise in hopes that maybe something can be done

about this joke of a car dealer.

but i do have some good news (no i didnt buy car insurance)

i ended up at a dealer named Bill Marsh ford in newtown PA

with a salesman named joe bryan and his assistant bruce.

I was treated like a customer should be treated

fairly with no bullcrap or bait and switch tactics.

they took all the time my wife needed test driving the cars

she was interested in with no high pressure.

I ended up buying her a 2005 ford escape AWD and am very

especially with the sales team.

just wante to update and let you guys know that the general manager paid me off for my time. they gave me $150 for my time and travel that day after i filed a BBB complaint against them. i really believe they were worried because if i decided to get a lawyer involved they would have had to sell me the car for the amount they quoted me in writing. either way after seeing the complaints about the dodge magnum i am licky i didnt get one. evidently they are out together like junk, they may look nice but really are trashy.
