I find it interesting that after 1yr,7 months, Mgrs of CRA respond to my post. Even more surpriseing to what they call badgering.
They seem to consider some one bringing serious health and saftety issues to their attention, or when an un paid employee refuses to climb a 30 ft extention ladder to replace security lighting, ( in violation of Cal-Osha rules) and pleads for them to buy or rent the proper equipment to do the job, that is Badgering ?
Or maybe they consider being badgered some one refusing to go up in a man lift( 60 + feet in the air( a violation of Cal-Osha rules) without proper safety equipment to repair their broken , mis leading sign advertizing rates at $10.00 a night for full hookups and telling it was not only dangerious but illegal( I was not licensed to operate a High lift pice of equipment) as is required by law !
Or when tree limbs from the many dead trees are falling on the RV's of the members , and again they were asked to get the proper equipment ( Man Lift) to do the job properly and In a safe manner, that is badgering ?
or maybe their idea of badgering is when it is brought to Mgrs attention that ther are serious health concern with the way food is cooked and handled in their un certified kitchen ( that when the health department found the same conditions and closed the kitchen ?. or maybe it was my complaining about all the sub-standard electrical lines the RV 's connect to.
Voltage goes down to 99 volts on lines that are suposed to carry 120 volts for proper courent to the units , so as to not damage TV"s, Microwaves, Etc. Plus there system does not have the required green line ( equipment ground). so the RV are not properly grounded when the members connect to their power supply! But in the end they are the BOSS and above the law!

Mr. George Forget was a member of Colorado River Adventures. He volunteered at our Cherry Valley Park and was allowed to stay in the park because of that reason. Our membership is designed on a 2 week in/1 week out basis. This forces movement and allows us to accommodate our members.
When Mr. Forget quit his volunteer position he then was subject to all the rules of a member. Members with a guaranteed week out privilege are allowed, as stated above to remain in their site and pay, as availability allows. When usage dictates we must discontinue this and those who have been taking advantage of staying put have to move. They are guaranteed a space for their week out but necessarily in the park of their choice. This is fully disclosed and the members paperwork.
Since we have members arriving and departing all day long there is sometimes the appearance of availability in the park. Our central reservations department dictates when member demand for normal usage must end the week out capability in a park. Mr. Forget could certainly have used his privilege. He just couldnt use it at Cherry Valley.
It is not policy to refund a member their money when they are dissatisfied. It does not happen often and only when circumstances dictate. Mr. Forget was not happy and since he continued to complain and badger us (publicly so) management felt it better to FREE HIM and so we did.

As I stated in my original report .
I had received most of my investment back from C R A ( $5,457.00)
I sent them a demand letter for the original down payment money ($795)+ money spent on the R P I membership they sold me and stated in that demand letter action was a violation of my rights to due process ( no notices were given that anything was wrong or that they were planing to terminate my membership) .
3 days later I received a check from Debra Cook Administrative assistant for Phil Younis ( president of C R A ) in the amount of $795.00 With a letter stating this was their final reimbursement, and also stating that their action was taken because of "My unhappiness" with their rules?, regulations? and policies?. Now if they would only do the same for all of those others who feel the same way about Colorado River Adventures .
It really does pay to report a wrong doing on this site , thanks again! great job.
