Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I purchased the associates program back in December 2012. It was for a program + website + relationship to learn the tools of how to help individuals with their child support needs both custodial and non custodial parents. I paid $110 to Kai Patterson for this.  He did not follow through with what was promised. I asked for a refund. He replied that he would give me my money back but instead to give him more time. I gave it to him.  A month later, still no delivery.  I asked for a refund.  I was asked for more time. I gave him more time.  He then hired a new person to handle the associates.  I waited and still did not receive what was promised so I requested my money back. I was told okay. He then had another lady handle my calls. I have called often and been very polite about this and asked for my money back, nothing and even getting hung up on and I was nice about this!! I went to my bank twice and they asked Child Support Advocates, Kai Patterson, Bounty Alert to refund my money.  Still nothing.  Kai's customer service people have hung up on me, promised to get back with me but often have not, asked for my paypal id, told me they will look into it and have Kai handle it.  All very very disheartening and a waste of time.  What a freaking roller coaster.  The money has never been returned to me.  Kai has deliberately stolen my $110.  This is really poor business practice and a suppressive thing to do. I requested my money back 5 months ago because I came to the conclusion that even if he came through with the associates package, I would be very frustrated working with this company since it is not in good honest communication nor probably would it be able to handle all the business I could send them their way. They ask for the customer to pay $100's of dollars upfront. By seeing how they work, I am very glad I did not take a parents money and promise them I could help them because I doubt sincerely that Kai and his business follow through all the time, yet probably really do keep their money.  Do not be ripped off by this company.  Do not send them any money!  www.projectchildsupport.org/advocate_program.html

In response to the false claims provided by Shelley Barnes on May 10, 2013 of the organizations called Skip Tracey (http://www.skiptraceyinvestigations.com), and Judgment Enforcement Specialist (http://www.jesoftx.com), I received a chargeback for her subscription to our Advocate Program on February 26, 2013 (http://www.projectchildsupport.org/exhibit-b.pdf), at which time the funds were pulled from our account. On March 8, 2013, I received another notification from PayPal that stated the funds were returned to her bank (http://www.projectchildsupport.org/exhibit-c.pdf). On April 24, 2013 I received a confirmation her banked honored her chargeback (http://www.projectchildsupport.org/exhibit-d.pdf). PayPal has confirmed that Shelley Barnes was provided with all of the notifications we received and provided in our response. After filing a chargeback on February 26, 2013, Ms. Barnes continued to contact our organization requested that we refund a subscription fee she previously charged back. PayPal provides a refund option, which cannot be executed on a charged back transaction. On the May 10, 2013 when this report was filed, Shelley Barnes' bank had refunded the transactions several months prior on February 26, 2013. The Custodial Support Foundation's Advocate Program is run by the attorneys, advocates and executives who take pride in providing the most comprehensive child support assistance program. After notifying Ms. Barnes, she has requested this report be removed, but we were informed all Ripoff Reports are permanent (http://www.projectchildsupport.org/exhibit-f.pdf). Sincerely, Customer Support

We charge an initial fee to conduct an investigation to confirm each individual or organization meets the criteria to market our program. Since organization are required to acquire and personal information related to client's cases, we will not allow an organization to communicate with potential clients without confirming they meet our criteria. The organization subscriber failed to provide the necessary documents to confirm they were a legitimate business, licensed to do business and failed to provide copies of insurance documents as required by the agreement they executed. The organization subscriber initially provided a website hyperlink to develop the pages necessary to market the services offered through our Advocate Program, to a working website, but requested we redevelop screens for subscribers through a website that was not working. The website still does not work to this day (See: Below). http://www.skiptraceyinvestigations.com After spending several hours developing the webpages and waiting weeks for the documents required by the subscriber's advocate agreement, the organization requested a refund after we provided services, but were unable to receive the documents to allow the organization to market our services. The subscriber requested a refund through their credit card provider, but was denied because their deposit of $110 was nonrefundable under the terms and conditions of the agreement, and the costs we incurred to established the clients account. The initial fee each organization pays is used conduct an investigation to determine if the organization meets the criteria to market our services. That criteria consists of having a license, to operate within their jurisdiction, having insurance against errors and omissions, having an operating website if they are a professional business as was the organization who subscribed to the program. We take pride in the services we provide and will not allow anyone who represents they are a legitimate business to meet with clients on our behalf. Once we receive copies of the necessary documents, only then will we allow an organization to represent the services or our organization. Furthermore, we do have organization that are approved advocates and have provided all of the necessary documents to offer the services of our program (See An Approved Advocate Hyperlinks: Below). http://cteaminv.com http://www.projectchildsupport.org/c-team/collection_program.html http://www.projectchildsupport.org/c-team/amnesty_program.html http://www.projectchildsupport.org/c-team/filing_program.html We also issue a press release announcing the organization as an approved provider of our program (See: Below). http://custodialsupport.blogspot.com/2012/11/c-team-investigations-team-up-with.html After the organization that filed this report did not provide copies of the documents to properly establish their account, and attempted to dispute their credit card charge with their bank, their bank and our merchant provided upheld our dispute of the charge. We have requested the individual contact to discuss this issue, but have invested far more than $110 against this account in investigative services to verify they did not meet our requirements as an advocate.
