Childhelp What is Omeka doing? Very unprofessional! Costa Mesa California
I have not worked for this company too long and can not wait until I find another job. This company managed by Omeka is so unprofessional. What "Keep it Real" wrote is true. I couldn't have said it better. I spoke up and my schedule changed from am,pm,ntcare,oncall with split days off. Why is family members of Omeka working at the same location? I don't understand. Working environment was very uneasy with them. It's ok for them to yell and roughly handle the children but if one of the other staff did the same thing they would get written up. Nothing makes sense anymore at this company. I see donations come in for the children and where does it go? I don't see the children getting anything! What's going on? There's so much amount of rediculous paperwork that's due and no quality time spent with the children.
This company is supposed to be for the children. We are not office workers. They need to hire an office lady to file papers and do other paperwork! A lot of good staff are quitting and everyone is stressed. It has not been a good working environment lately. I would like to know why Childhelp in Arizona is not doing anything about this. When you call Duf in HR department to say your concerns, he calls Omeka. Dianna who is the director is the same. Rumor says the three worked together at another company and knows eachother... Maybe it's true. Childhelp in Arizona doesn't care what's going on in Orange County? The neighbors are very upset with us and complains its noisy, property damage, etc. I think Orange County Childhelp will be closing down soon.

Arizona will also smile in your face and then either support CH in getting you out the door or they will kindly offer you a severance in exchange for agreeing not to talk about what happened there. I say still tell them--maybe at some point someone will have a pang of morality kick in and decide to clean house. Again. Sara and Yvonne are clueless and prefer to be that way. They call the kids "orphans" to their faces.

TRUTH HURTS......just becareful! IF you still work there, trust no one! Management will smile in your face and pretend to care.... People talk and words gets around quick! Feels like bunch of teenagers working for this company!!! Arizona is aware of what's going on. They want us to contact them.......I say don't waste your time doing that. We need to get a hold of the founders: Sara & Yvonne. I don't think they will be happy to hear what's going on........... BTW, "Omeka" is spelled Omika, "Dianna" is Diana, and "Duf" is DUFF.
