Christi Auto Works, John's Towing, Hellenic Investment Group Industrial intrusion upon a residential neighborhood, Toxic Fumes, Illegally operating/operation by means of code dismissals, Trespassing and assault upon photographer Holiday Florida
This all started a little over 3 years ago while I was sailing in the Keys. I had just almost a couple years prior helped my Mom find this house in Pasco county. When I arrived back to her place, I found Tow Trucks driving all up and down the neighborhood streets one vacant lot was filled with Towed vehicles of all kinds.
They were using one of our streets also as their personal parking lot....call after call after call after call.......to the Sheriffs department got me no results except for one Sunday about 10:30 am they made a very rude visit upon our family to tell us they weren't going to do anything. I kept up the heat, was assaulted by one of the personnel of the business upon my Mother's property (video taping).
Sheriff said he would write it up as a verbal abuse, went to F.D.L.E. (Florida Department of Law Enforcement), sent to internal affairs, finally I got a little something done. a settlement of about $175.00 towards my broken camera; which I have refused to accept.
I later resorted to Billboard sign petitioning, was physically pushed around by another personnel (Sheriffs refuse to pursue).
A new neighbor moved in and was some great help in getting some of the problems taken care of, but I feel like our life is being industrialized due to parties with more influence, Toxic fumes have been a serious problem, what we don't smell I wonder.
I have not received one sincere apology, but have been yelled at to get out of the neighborhood by these people who bought property on Alt 19 and I am sure are using what is an illegal back alley entrance through our neighborhood to increase their utilization of the commercial property.

I have also spent several days in front of AAA Auto Insurance Centers petitioning against this business, I believe this also helped in reducing some of the Commercial activity on our street; AAA Auto has not though shown any apparent concern even though it is a AAA approved business. My visit with the Vice President a few years ago showing the video of the assault (Battery), got me nothing but rushed out their office like I was the plaque, The V.P. told he didn't care, I think he already knew about things and just wanted to see if I had actual evidence. It was after this I went to internal affairs. Now my Mom is 78... and I had really hoped that I had found her a decent place to live, at least it was for a little while, then it was like WELCOME TO HELL.... WERE TAKING OVER.....I had been yelled out to and jeered at by these people several times...told to find another place to live a few times...insulted as a druggy with nothing better to do...'than to care about my neighborhood?' much on video and photo's. Now I just wonder what they are up to, I feel like I'm walking over rocks with Rattlesnakes crawling around just underneath and in between areas....Maybe they are waiting to get their poor business plan grandfathered in. I'm concerned about the fumes effect upon my Mother, something we didn't have to worry about when we bought the place.....They have been visited upon numerous times and more than once documented as to not using filters on their equipment.....it seems like no-one cares about the spring that is only about 200 ft away....is there really no effects coming from this business....the canal running right along the edge of their property and into the Spring/pond which makes it way to the larger lake. With all that has been going on I had only received one insincere letter, from Hellenic I. Group long ago.....There is nothing in formal agreement...I have filed another code violation complaints and spoken to one of their connected parties about the ill effect of the business but no response now for more than a year. My first code violation report on this business resulted in a retribution report by them stating themselves as occupants of the neighborhood and that I had a boat trailer in my driveway, and a Van ( I was working on). Code enforcement was upon my door within 24 hours handing a citation to my Mother....to avoid hefty fines I had to get rid of my boat trailer and my Van, plus I paid the initial fine. I do not believe that they have received any fines, even to this day.
