Christian Miniatures Deceived me. Groton New York
I sent $65. for a kit which I received 40 days later. I called to inquire, and they said that it was normal for the first kit. I assembled one item and sent it back for approval. I am still waiting for a response. I've called numberous times, and I've sent 4 messages, not receiving any response. There is a 60 day time limit in which to assemble the products, so I'm pretty sure that I am screwed on this one. They seemed pretty friendly at first, but after receiving my money they've disappeared. I've yet to find one company that is legit.

No, it is not normal for it to take 40 days to receive your first kit. They were not telling you the truth! I received my first kits within 10 days. And the Christian Miniatures website does not say it takes 40 days. In fact, under the FAQ section, they claim they usually send kits out the same day the order is received. They say that any delays are because of the US Postal System.
However, even though I received my first kits promptly, I have been waiting almost four months--yes, four months--to get a response to three kits that I completed and sent back to them within the 60 days. They claim to process payment the same day products are received, or the next day depending on the state. But I've been waiting almost four months! Again, they are not telling the truth.
They don't respond to emails. Usually you get a message when calling them by phone. And, of course, they do not respond to any phone mesages you leave in return for them.
I found that it was very enjoyable to make the products. If Christian Miniatures knew how to run their business and were organized and lived up to their promises on their website, I would love to continue working for them. But the frustration of their very poor business management is not worth the money, even if you do eventually get paid.
