Christine Kerns, GAL for both Pierce and Thurston County, WA courts uses false information and fails to thoroughly investigate allegations. Kerns tends to base her decisions on who she 'likes' more in order to determine the placement of a child. Kerns does not take the well-being of a child as reason to base her written or verbal testimony. Kerns also does her investigations hurriedly, disregarding key evidence or witness.
Since Christine Kerns refuses to spend the time to really know the children or both parties, Kerns fails to accurately portray facts and lies to the courts using legal formated documentation.
Christine Kerns, does GAL work for both the Thurston County Courts and the Pierce County Courts, while also working full-time for the Children's Administration, with the State of Washington. Kerns does GAL work in addition to her day job, leaving little time to do an accurate or thorough job for the courts she seeks to serve. Further, it appears when Kerns was an active social service worker with Child Protective Services, there was a lack of proper handling/complaints of case work done in her care. Kerns also uses her resources with the State of Washington and their employees to gain knowledge about the cases she is handling for the counties. This fact alone should raise serious concerns for the county and state she receives compensation from. Kerns goes so far as to inquire about parties not named in court actions, nor instructed by courts investigate.
Christine Kerns, because of her lack of time and failure to invesigate each case properly, actually places children in greater danger. Kerns type of investigative failure produces outcomes such as the failures witnessed in high profile cases such as the Powell children of Pierce County, WA and Baby Bella Bond in MA.
Christine Kerns does not appear to be able to seperate feelings from fact.
Kerns cannot accurately relay even what is placed in written format correctly, both in her reports and in verbal testimony to the courts she services.
If you are unfortunate enough to get this GAL assigned to your case, ask for reassignment or record every word she speaks and any time spent in her presence.

You may look up from any search engine Seattle Times, Lawsuits against Children's Administration, WA or CA's own website under the children harmed under their care, as this is public information. Regardless, this information contained in this report is accurate, sad and unbelievably true.
If it doesn't make sense to you, consider yourself lucky you were never placed in a position to be judged by the incompetent.

There is no link to your story and FYI your story makes no sense!!! Sounds like you lost custody of your kids and you want to blame everyone but yourself.
