Christopher White/ C&T Auto Sales is a liar and thief! Illegal car business! Beware! Plymouth Indiana
In June 2005 Christopher White, the owner of C&T Auto Sales, had several used cars for sale listed in the Chicago Sun Times. On June 16, 2005 I purchased a Chevrolet Cavalier from Christopher White. He told me the title and plates would come to him and he would send them to me. After weeks went by I contacted him about my plates and title, he told me they hadn't come in yet. I continued to call Mr. White before my temporary plates expired and I was told they still weren't there yet. When my temporary plates expired I called him and told him my temporary plates expired and I need my plates. He told me the title was full and it would take another month to straighten everything out. His story didn't sound right to me so I started asking him questions about if he ever turned in any money or paperwork to the Illinois Secretary of State. He got angry with me and hung up. I have not spoken to Mr. White since 2005 and I still have not received my plates or title after six months.
Christopher White took my money and left me with no plates or title for this car. His business practices are illegal. He'll take your money and run! Beware!

I got his dealers license number but I was told that there is no bonding company. I have filed several complaints against him and nothing has been done yet.

Every dealer's license requires a BOND. Go to the dealers services section of your motor vehicle dept or similar office in your area. Ask for this persons dealers license# and then ask who his bonding company is. You then contact the bonding company and file a claim on his bond. Also, did you get a sale contract/bill of sale? I really hope so. Also, how did you pay him? I hope you do not say cash. Have fun. Good luck.
