I have leased two vehicles with Button Dodge. Always read your contracts very carefully before signing. The first lease I traded in a car I purchased with a loan from a credit union. It was a Dodge Caliper and basically a lemon. So I traded this vehicle in with a 5000 trade allowance but they said they had to cover the balance of my loan and apply it to the lease which was approximately 5000. So essentially the tradein and balance on the loan should have just made it a zero tradein. They didn't write the paperwork this way however so the dealer wrote this new lease for the value of the new lease vehicle plus the 5000 which should have been zero. So I get ready to end this lease and do another lease. The first least was for $425. The second lease they say the value of the loan which was tacked onto the lease was not paid in full even though I finished the lease payments. I turned the lease in needing tires abd 500 miles over. Not many miles over. So the new lease on a similar vehicle same price is now $494. I didn't think anything about it until I start comparing lease payments with other people who have worse credit than me and their lease payments for the same vehicle is $191 a month. I went to another dealer to confirm that yes I was ripped off. Same company different dealer. Who committed fraud Button Dodge or Chrysler Capital or both?

Not Fraud...

Now, I am not going to come here and say it doesn't appear you got a bad deal.  But there is a big jump from a bad deal to fraud, and paying more than someone else is not fraud.

If people got a similar vehicle for less either they just did a better job of negotiating.   There are also other factors you are leaving out specific details that could affect the lease cost as well.  Such as more on the Negative Equity situation, the specific details such as the price of the car, the milage allowance, the length of the lease...etc.

Oh and of as for the other dealers who are telling you that you got ripped off.   They are telling you EXACTLY what you want to hear.  This is so when it comes time to get your next car you go to them because they are "on your side"...only to find out that they are just as willing to screw you over if they are given the opportunity.
