December 12,2008 sent cashiers check to Chrysler Financial certified mail to pay off the truck. December 23, 2008 Chrysler Financial enters it in their computer that they received the cashiers check. Even though my stub that I received certified mail says they signed for it at 3:34pm December 19,2008.

I call December 26,2008 to make sure they send out the lien release. They then inform me that the cashiers check is no good. I went around and around for several hours on the phone no one can tell me why they think a cashiers check is no good. They then inform me that their policy is that after running a check through once and it comes back no good that they copy the check and destroy it. Ohh, they also informed me before I got off the phone with them that they need their $400 payment for that month.

I call every day to see if they have found anything out. Get the run around. I always get a name and ext. number. When ever I never hear back I call them the next day and they never answer or return calls. I finally got Chrysler Financial on a 3way phone conversation with the bank that wrote the cashiers check. The bank informed them that they cannot write them another cashiers check till they get the other one back.

January 6, 2009 here I am, sold my truck and still making payments on it so save my credit. Chrysler Financial still has not gotten this resolved. They finally sent a copy of the check to the bank that wrote the check. A lady from Chrysler Financial called me today and told me to call the bank and have them call her and tell her what to do next. What??? They need to run the cashiers check through and we can all go on our own ways. The bank calls me back after reviewing the copy off the check that did not go through and told me that Chrysler typed the routing numbers in wrong. There is three number ones in the routing number. They punched in the number three instead of a one all three times.

Call Chrysler immediately to inform them of this and now they tell me their computers are down right now and they can not help me. This is just unbelievable. I agree with these other reviews that I have read. They are very rude and I am not saying this cause I'm upset. Very bad business practice.

Currently I am making payments on a vehicle that I don not have. They have the $13,750 and I asked them with it being their fault will they take off the interest that has incurred since they've received the cashiers check? They couldn't make any promises. The sad thing is is that there are many people like myself that is at their mercy. We can't sue them none of us little people have any big dollar amounts to go after them; so they just continue on with their little games. Just remember all of the other people out there with a similar situation like mine with Chrysler Financial. I don't know when but one day it will all come back on them. May not necessarily pay us back but they will pay.
