I got the free credit report from these guys in early sept. 04. I wanted to unsubscribe from the credit monitoring service right away so I called the customer service number listen on the page. I got a message telling me something along the lines that due to hight call volume they weren't taking calls and that to cancel I could email
[email protected]. I did this and for some reason asumed they would honor that. Come this month I get a charge on my card for the "service". I call and of course they have no record of my email even though it's in my sent box and I know it went out. They cancelled me (I hope) but were reluctant about giving me a refund. She gave me a fax number 714-385-2100 for their consumber relations and told me to fax a signed letter stating I'd cancelled with a statement,driver's licence copy, and I guess I'll incude a copy of the sent email as well. I'll update if it works.
