Experian Credit Reporting stays arms length from their CIC online site and they well should. It is the most poorly run, outsourced system online. Unlike some of the reports here, I did see and understand that if I did not cancel the service in the first 30 days, I would be billed the next month. Well, they stay very, very quite that first 30 days so you forget. Which I did.

They got me for February, but on Feb. 1st I called and cancelled. I also cancelled Equifax, and Transunion services I had been using prior to taking out a mortgage. March 1st, CIC bills me again. The others did not.

So, another phone call. The operator acted as if I never made my Feb. 1st cancellation. I gave her information about the call that proved I made it, and she confirmed they would credit my bank acct. WE SHALL SEE.....

IF YOU CANCEL, GO TO YOUR BANK AND BLOCK THIS COMPANY FROM FURTHER CHARGES. My bank will do this free of charge. (anyone in Alabama, Miss., or TN I recommend RENASANT Bank !!
