Hello everyone, i purchased a bugatti lighter from Cigars International around feuary 2013. well about 8 mons latter i went to fill said lighter and when i did my lighter fell apart in my hands meaning when i pulled out the tank from the zippo style bugatti lighter it simply fell out and parts all over the floor, now i had an issue because the parts that fell out were buried under the ignition portion of the lighter and you dont see theses parts when your service your lighter, so as you can imagin i was supprised and confused as to how to put it back together correctly since i didnt take it apart piece by piece , when this happened i remembered that when i got this lighter i registered with integral-style.com in which i was instructued to do with my new lighter and naturally i did this immediatley upon getting my lighter ready for first time use, i admit this gave me a false sense of security. so then i called integral-style about my problem and the customer support there gave me attitude and said quote if i couldnt figure out what to do about it online i was out of luck!! so naturally i was confused because i had a lifetime warranty and the lighter comes with a three year warranty by default, although if you have an issue with your lighter with integral-style you have to pay to send it back to them and if they deem it defective the will send out a new one...problem is if you read their warranty to which i was directed the warranty is bassically useless because the way they word it ,its worded to the point that there is never gona be their fault ,props on their word smithing and forked tounges.bassically that being said it really doesnt matter if they have a warranty or not because they state differnt prices to fix or repair your lighter whether its in or out of warranty ,only difference is a small difference in price so you really dont need a warranty for that ....integral-style just adds a bogus warranty to lull u into a false sense of security when they know they will never honor it anyways, which as you can imagine my disscust , other companies such as Xikar offers a lifetime warranty in which the acctually honor it with no bs, this is what i thought i was getting with integral-style but apparantly not...to me they are just shisters and to me its just a fly by night company out of florida with less than 10 employees , which they prob run out of their living room couch in their undies lol....the website is just a bs front im guessing because thats how it sounds to me im defenetly never doing business with them or any company the supposedly warranty products for ever again....leson learned....now i decided to contact good old Cigars International customer support about the matter seeing how i spend lots of money with them as i do with other online cigar stores so i figured maybe they could help me out because they i thought cared about customer support, now my lighter was out of warranty with ci and i told the customer support rep that i understood that and i told them i know its not their fault but i was just wondering if they could somehow intervine with their partner company Integral-style and they replied they could give me a discount on another lighter ans i explained to them thats not what i wanted i just wanted integral style to honor thier bogus warranty and to alert cigars international about the poor and devious company that they do business whith and all the while i was not upset with cigars international customer support until the rep from cigars international point blank yelled at me and accused me of i quote dropping my lighter and its not thier problem, bassically they didnt care eigther ....naturally i was now irritated with being yelled at from cigars international for just asking them for some help with this esspecially after all the business i ve done with them ,,,i was shocked at the tottal dissrespect i was subjected to by both companies over a stupid lighter,,,the other thing is that both companies were both very patronizing and completly unprofessional, most good companies would simply replace a cheap lighter to keep a customer even if said customer was completly out of line its just good business sence..now i wasnt trying to get someting for nothing and i did not try to decieve eigther company in any way i was simply trying to diplomatically resolve a simple and inexpensive problem as painlessly as possible, but all i got was attitude and acusations thrown at me and them patronizing and insulting e-mails afterwards which turned my stomach,,,so to make an even loger story short neigther company aggreed to help me good customer support is a dying breed ive decided, needless to say i will not be doing business with eigther company ever again buyer beware...gerard payette, newbedford massachusetts.
