Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
i have been ripped-off and lied to not once but this is the second time by circuit city. they sold me a esp contract and stood there to my face and said if anything happened to my satellite all i had to do was bring it back to the store and they would fix it or replace it there, i had deep conerns since they had told me this before and i went 3 months waiting on service people to come to my home and fix my satellite, but they assured me that this was the gospel, not true.

i arrived at the asheville store with my satellite in hand and they said oh you will have to call the in-home repair number, i could not believe that i was so stupid as to believe them but i did. we have not yet been able to get in touch with the service people whom we were given to call and its been over a week. the last time they traveled over 200 miles to our house, and i am paying a direct tv bill for a tv that i can't watch. how can such a large corporation stay in business with such fraud acts! i will never buy or step foot in another circuit city store as long as i live.

Some people will sign/buy anything that is shoved in their face. Companies like Circuit City and Best Buy rely on these people. Stop acting like sheep and take responsibility for your decisions!!! Understand your options people!!! The moron who purchased the DSS system took the sales person on his/her word. What the...? These people lie because they keep their jobs by selling warranties. Read the warranty(manufacturer's or the store's) and then make your decision. Do not allow the people making $6/hr. to force you into something you do not want. If these people do not sell a certain amount of warranties a week they will be fired. They will lie to the infinite degree to keep their jobs. Buyer Beware!!!

Did it ever occur to you to get such promises in writing before forking over your hard-earned money for these service contracts? I used to work for Circuit City myself, and let me tell you ... you are exactly the kind of customer we love to get. You will buy whatever we tell you to, and we will make lots of money off your sale, as we take your money and try to hold the laughter in until you make it out the door. I find it interesting that this has happened to you TWICE and yet you still do not insist on the promises in writing! If that does not teach you a lesson then there is simply no hope.
