Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Wells Fargo Bill Pay should have paid $251.58 on 3/16/09. Instead they emptied my savings and paid $25,158.00. Both Wells Fargo representatives and myself have been trying for just under a month now to get my $$$ back. The supervisor, Brooke at 520-662-8989 ext. 47431 has never even returned one of our calls. Getting thru to anyone that is not in India on the customer service # 800-283-7918 is tough, but everytime I do speak to someone I am assured it is being handled. But no one can tell me when (or if) I will ever see my money again.

Can anybody out there help me or direct me to someone that can? There is no way to get through to anyone who gives a darn at CitiMortgage. My advice: They are impossible to deal with. Avoid them at all costs!!! I understand that the error is not their fault. But at least one returned call would go a long way.

WRITING is the only way to deal with this. Seems to me that if Wells Fargo made the mistake, Wells Fargo should FAX them a letter (on their letterhead) demanding remittance of the over-payment. I'm sure someone at WF can learn the appropriate fax number to send the documentation. OR, you could send a certified letter, return receipt requested to them (include documents from WF that show the money they received) and demand an immediate remittance of the over-payment. Either way, my advice is to STOP ALL AUTOMATIC DEBITS through whatever bank you use. This is exactly the type of problem that can be created when there is a mistake. Further, when a mistake is made you could find yourself with bounced checks and NSF fees that you'll have to deal with from YOUR bank the entity that you attempted to cash your check. Go back to mailing checks to pay your bills.
