Florida Utilities-From Sunshine State to Blackout State

Florida's quality of life report found one quarter of Florida's children live in welfare families; the leading cause of death with seniors is heart disease, accidents and strokes; a disproportionate number of workers wages are 15 percent or more below state average and only 32 percent of the population trust state government to do the right thing, which means the shunshine state is in a blackout mode?

Utilities are not an option. Kerosene lamps are not allowed and the only utility company in the capitol city is the city owned muncipality known as Your Own Utilities, NOT!

The 12 year-old city utility has NOT produced one single complete audit or published one profit and loss statement as they continue disconnecting utilitites city-wide,to in a heartless crackdown against the weak, the meek and the uninformed.

Gov. Jeb Bush is completely blind to the fact his promise, "No child Overlooked, " requires hours of study on a daily basis a bit difficult in pitch black homes with the electric turned off.I know several heart bypass patients at risk for strokes in over heated or cold homes in all electric Tallahassee rip off city.

The Governor's staff has been so busy trying to reform education no one educated them on the fact, a municipality cannot disconnect utilities because they are responsible for the health and welfare of the people and taking away, lights, water and gas destroyes health and welfare?

The Commissioners cover up extortion rates with the high cost of fuel but the truth is Talquin, private electric in Leon County offers quality service at 30% less cost and grants each customer a full month's rebate every year while the city has continued to grab more money to fleece 240,000 prisoners of mismanaged government!

Attorney General Charlie Crist took office on a promise of civil rights, but it's not politically correct to sue the city for mismanaging utiliities, violating public trust or failure to

perform an audit.

The best we can do is ban new business and any family move to the capitol city until this power grab is investigated, affordable service restored, and the public parasites reminded they are supposed to be public servants.

I

f the Florida Home Builders Association would put people above profit they would have built energy saving homes with solar energy water heaters etc, instead of luring retiring seniors into a city where utilities cost more than the monthly mortgage or rent, which leaves us a choice, eat or heat, seat or bet or survival?

I am one of the last great generation military widows pleading with the legislators for action before we too join the trail of tears and head for the border, where you are greeted with a great billboard(on Georgia side) as you enter Florida, "Go to Church or the Devil will get you."

Please don't laugh-because the truth is you must have enough cash to pay the city rip off or the devil will get you before you get to church because the city attitude is, "The devil made me do it..."

It's a sad sight to see the Sunshine State become the Blackout state, and it's time to remove every politician from office who talks about the American dream while they force this nightmare on us...

Gov Bush brags about saving the Everglades which will fall into the ocean and feed the whales with global warming, while his constitutents take turns freezing and sweating so the city electric can continue fleecing the public with anything goes billing.

The city payroll offers truck drivers $24.00 an hour plus perks while the Post Office starts at $14 a hour, the city engineers are taking home over $106,000 per year with $55 an hour plus perks and all those cell phones, computers, credit cards etc cost money not disclosed in the missing audit.

They also bill us for Fire Dept, Parks and Recreation and any other project with no sugar daddy, so when they demand new citizens pay $180 deposit for electric, they are not talking electric power, they are talking political power burn out, and I am one of many World War Two survivors burned out to face this health hazard turning us into the same hardships as the third world nations we donate funds to.

Charity begins at home, how about reminding the candidates for election, our number one charity is afforable electric...for equal protection
