CLASSIC INTERNATIONAL,INC. moving company ripoff THE CONTAINER WITH ALL OUR CHILDRENS PHOTO'S WERE DELIVERED WITH 2 INCH'S OF WATER IN IT NEW YORK CITY New York
On August 27, 2003 The Classic International Company,( a moving company picked up our household furnishings deliver them to Plant City, FL.
We placed our furnishings in plastic containers to help prevent any damage to our property. We were very upset, when we opened the plastic containers and found about two (2) inches of water inside one of the containers. This container held all of our family photos that are not replacable. Some of the containers were broken by someone stepping on them.
Other furniture that was damaged by water includes:
Two (2) end tables
One (1) TV stand
Also the moving company quoted a price of $1,166.75. The price ended up being $1,656.75.
After several calls to the moving company, they finally returned my call. At that time they offered $50.00, then $150.00, then they said their final offer was $375.00.
We feel that we should be intitled to a full refund of $1,656.75.
