This shop way overcharges for their work/ they don't make good on the work done, . For body and repairs/ restoration work to my 57' Chevy classic the total bill was nearly $7,000.00. Some of the transimission and electrical work was not done correctly, the transmission was leaking oil, and the dash lights/radio were out. they are still out. I took the car back to complain and asked for their shop warranty work to effect repairs that I had paid for, I was told by the Owner he didnt like my attude and told me to leave.

I came to know Classics Plus of Shakopee, Minnesota, when I had them help me resuscitate a 1952 Cadillac that I had owned for some years. They did excellent work, mechanical and bodywork, promptly and for a reasonable price. Since then, I have had them work on my other cars: a 1926 Ford and a 1949 Dodge, as well as an everyday driver used occasionally by my daughter, a 1995 Volvo. I will soon be having them do bodywork on my 1953 MGTD. Everyone at Classics Plus is personable and accommodating and the work is always excellent. Now, in the interest of full disclosure, I am a lawyer by trade, and this company has recently had me do some legal work on its behalf (but only after I got to know everyone there in my role as a consumer of automotive services). I know that the complainant in this case made a report to the Minnesota Attorney General's office about the matter which prompted his "Ripoff Report." Classics Plus provided me with an electronic copy of both the original complaint and the merchant response. That response, which is on record with the Attorney General, directly contradicts the assertion of the complainant that the merchant refused to perform remedial work; in fact, even after the various complaints, Classics Plus still offered - in a writing on file with the Attorney General's office - to inspect the car to determine the merits of the complaint. The complainant has not availed himself of that offer. Further, the complainant placed a stop payment order on the credit card transaction for which he paid for at least some of the services obtained, so the assertion in his complaint regarding what he paid for the automotive work is incorrect as well.

Both times they have done an excellent job! In fact on one car they feared there was a problem with the primer so the totally stripped the car and did a repaint at no cost to me. I have found there work to be second to none and would not hesitate to bring my next project to them. They stand behind their work and I have watch them and was impressed with the pride and craftsmanship they displayed. I am in the service industry and know that you cannot please everyone but I would recommend these guys to all my friends Mike Ketih. Excelsior Mn
