Classmates.com free 1-week trial fraud, unauthorized charges to my credit card made by Shopping Essentials internet
I joined a free one-week trial with Classmates.com. I cancelled my membership online before the trial period ended. A few weeks later, I noticed an unauthorized charge to my credit card. It was made by Shopping Essentials for a deduction of $19.95. I have never heard of Shopping Essentials.
I am new to the internet, and have only given my credit card account number to one organization (classmates.com), so it was easy for me to track it. I've noticed I'm not the only one who's been scammed here. I am angry I have been made a victim so easily in such a short time. I am working on getting my money back from this organization.
I only just got my credit card. I got it for the sole purpose of working on a credit score. I can't have fraudulant websites like classmates.com messing this up for me. I hope people get the word out about classmates.com, so that other people won't fall victim as I did.
