The company claims to be a training provider for RESNET as well as other nationally recognized authorities.  At last glance, CleanEdison is not currently a RESNET Rater Training provider, most likely because they are delinquent in their provider fees which were due several months ago.

Cleanedison is also delinquent in reimbursement of my training fees and travel expenses.  The training course was delivered in December, 2012.  So that people reading this have perspective, the 15 students enrolled in the class I instructed as well as the following BPI class that was instructed was billed out at over $3500 per student, $52,500 total plus.  I'm using a conservative estimate, because the class was held in Norfolk, Nebraska.  In Chicago, the normal fees per student for both classes would be closer to $4,000 for a total of $60,000.

It would seem to me a company that claims:  "To date, CleanEdison has trained and certified thousands of individuals through the largest open enrollment clean technology program in the nation." would be able to promptly pay their provider fees and the instructors' training and travel expenses.  Of course they have overhead, but really, playing the float for nearly 3 months by not paying the instructor and being delinquent in a provider fee of $1750 is suspicious.  Often times this scenario indicates serious cash flow problems and or mismanagement.  I'm not saying this is the case with Cleanedison, but over the past 3 decades I've experienced these circumstances and they spell trouble.

As a public service to my fellow training providers and instructors, I send out fair warning when dealing with this New York marketer.  This guy comes from a troubled company, Lehman, where he may have learned some bad business practices, so watch out.
