On Nov. 20, 2009 I went to Amazon.com to check on the price of Volume 4 of Alfred Hitchcock Presents. I noticed an ad for a boxed set of Alfred Hitchcock Presents Complete 14 seasons on 37 DVDs for $44.95 including $14.95 for shipping. I clicked on it and went to the web site .website www.clickdvdmedia.com Leery, because it looked too good to be true, I sent an email to the Contact us link asking about refund guarantee and if I could phone in my order. Since I did not get an immediate response and the total cost was only $59.90 I went ahead and ordered the box set anyway and entered my VISA credit card number. I received an immediate confirmation invoice stating that it would be delivered in10-14 days. On Dec. 2 I received an e-mail from Haley Martin - [email protected]  that

 1. Credit cards accepted for payment via our secure online shopping cart.

This ensures that the customers purchase is fully protected by all the fraud laws governing credit card purchases.

2. Our full satisfaction guarantee and warranty.

We guarantee that all DVDs ordered will arrive in perfect, fully working condition, or we would be more than happy to do a replacement FOC.

Furthermore, all our DVD Series are also backed up with a money back guarantee should you ever encounter any problems with our merchandise, you can always contact us to send the product back for a full refund (less shipping/handling. She recommended to check out their selections at www.ClickDVDShows.com .On Dec. 3 I received another email from Haley Martin stating that the order had been "successfully processed" and that delivery would be approximately 8-12 business days and that theStatement on your credit card would appear as homedvdvideos. On Dec. 16 I sent en email to Haley Martin stating that I had not received the shipment and would she please check on it. On Dec. 18 I received a response from Customer support with the email address [email protected] asking me to confirm my shipping address and that she would check on the shipment status at once. I responded to her email and confirmed my shipping address.  On Dec 20 she responded  from the email address [email protected]   stating that the item was shipped and to once again confirm the shipping address and that I will request for our overseas suppliers to submit a trace for the initial shipment sent to you, and we will also have a replacement shipment dispatched to you at once. Suspicious now that something fishy ws going on I responded asking what country the item would be shipped from. The charge showed up on my VISA card statement dated Dec. 1 billed to homedvdvideos with a phone number 646 403 3717. On Dec. 30 I sent an email stating that the item had not yet been received.  . I did a reverse trace on the phone number and discovered the number is in lower Manhatten. Really suspicious now, today, Jan. 4 I called myVISA credit card company and asked if they could check if homedvdvideo had any other complaints with nondelivery of goods but they could not help. Then I googled homedvdvideo and discovered that there were numerous complaints about clickdvdmedia.com on your web site www.ripoffreport.com . I called VISA again and decided to report the above scenario and they agreed to credit my account for the $59.90. Then would you know it, the shipment arrived right after I got off the phone. Just as the other complaints reported, the box set was not as advertised: the set  was incomplete, and the discs were clearly burned from a poor TV transmission with extremely blurry images  This company is clearly pirating these shows and should be shut down.
