I was recently on a trip to St. Maarten. I was staying at a hotel and some young adults approached me to give me a "scratch and win" card while I got off my car in front of the hotel. The reason for that being that I could get a prize just by only listening someone trying to sell me a timeshare at another hotel. If I would tell them no after 45 minutes they would give me my prize.

So, after scratching the card I got three dollar signs, which would have entitled me to $1000 prize on eBay. I was wondering if that was true because I strongly believe there is no such thing as free stuff for

nothing. As it was expected, the guy was very happy to see that I was a "grand prize" winner and that he had to take me personally to the Hotel in order for him to collect his commission.

Since this was at noon, the guy also told me that there was free lunch for the people participating at the timeshare info session.

So, after arriving there, the free lunch turned into a miserable plastic cup of water. And, not only I listened the whole rambling of the sales person for three hours, but when I firmly said no, no, no, no...then he took me down to reception and gave me

two certificates of $500 each. And guess what...nowhere to be seen said eBay.

So,the certificate was to WSNrewards.com or the Worldwide Shopping Network, which other people have complaint as well in this website as being a genuine ripoff. Basically, I did not win anything because WSNrewards.com make their money by blowing up

the prices of shipping and handling and by assigning a fee to each item purchased, which on the long run end up being more expensive than in any other store.

Even if you "buy" all the items in the website you would not reach the total $500 of the certificate, but will end up paying the same amount for pure garbage merchandise in all the applied fees.

Anyway, there you have Club Sunterra luring customers to buy ripoff timeshares by using the other ripoff website WSNrewards.com. Two ripoffs toghether!
