I purchased a car from jd byrider 1 month ago they made a mistake on my budget. 30 days later they realize that now they want to go back on their on our contract that we sign and want the car back and refuse to give me my money back $1000.00 that I put down on the car. They are refusing my payments, and withhold my tag for my car; my temp tag has expired. What can I do to get my tag for my car? They will not accept any money from me and I know that this is against the law.

To all who read Sandrea's post. We all like to vent and complain when we've been done wrong. But we never admit what we've done wrong. This customer came to another dealership that is a sister company with the company she is reporting and JD Byrider had not only given her, her money back but a paper of which I made a copy of stating that the vehicle she turned back in would not be on her credit or reported negatively which was proved when her credit was pulled. As far as JD Byrider making mistakes on her credit. This customer did not know we were in association with JD Byrider and disclosed that you had told them you had more income in order to budget, they let her drive off with the vehicle and be contracted on the promise that she would bring in the additional proof of income as stated in the contract. After days and weeks of her not bringing it in the contract was null and void. Whether she lied or not, she admitted she was no longer receiving that income and therefore had no proof of it. She did not budget for a vehicle and instead of setting a person up for failure JD Byrider is there to assist people who have had bad situations happen to them and bad credit that stops them from getting approved elsewhere.

Explain the problem to the License Plate people there and ask them for help. Show them your contract and all other paperwork you have, including your temporary registration. They will either be able to handle getting you your metal tag, or direct you to whom you should talk to. It may be an attorney. It may also help you to register a complaint with the State at www.800helpfla.com. if you have a contract, there is nothing anyone can do to void it as long as the information you provided was completely accurate. If you told them false information to help you get the loan, and they catch it after the fact, the contract is void. Get busy.
