C.N.O.G Industries ripoff: took membership fee, than discontinued program. They said to look to Pay Pal for a refund. Pay pal tells me to get the refund from them Cypress Texas
Gasrefund.com offered a refund if you were a memeber between $1.50 and what ever you paid for gas. I sent in my membership fee through Pay Pal, of $6.95. Got my membership package, registered my membership on their web site... entered my first purchase.. the next day I went to their site, and they had a message up that said they were disccontinuing the program, and I should look to Pay Pal for a refund... I contacted Pay Pal, and they emailed me that I should get my refund from the merchant. I know this is only a small amount, but how many hundreds of people signed up for this site, only to find out it is a scam.

Hello I understand your point in view, but from experience, there is two problems, 1st off the amount is too low, anything under $30.00 pay pal won't lift a finger, 2nd, the internet fraud agency won't do anything because it is under $50.00, but if there is enough complaints, they will there is a lot of anti pay pal sites out there for a reason, pay pal is a scam and the bad part about it, they are getting away with fraud. CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report. best thing for you to do is go over pay pal's head, write a letter to your congressman, and go to the internet fraud website and file a complaint. take care
