Coast To Coast Transmission AKA 24hr Transmissions SCAM!! took my money out of my account and never heard from them!! Don't return my calls- Hang up when I call! Horibble customer service! they are commiting internet FRAUD! Ripoff Denton Texas
They are a TOTAL scam! First off when I called STEVE told me a TOTAL price of $1,497.00 which would include a REBUILT tranny, installation, labor, towage, and all taxes. 2 days later RICH/RICHARD called to let me know that my new price is $3,000.00! Double of what I agreed to! Because of "hard" parts that my car needed. When I started to argue with him about what Steve said he told me I couldn't prove it- little did he know I was recording my calls!
Luckily for me- thats all my proof! I got in contact with my Mechanic that had my car & he told me that he hasn't even talked to anyone about my car- that the tow truck just came & dropped it off. I let him know that Richard told me I needed all these extra "hard" parts in order to fix my car the mechanic laughed! And said No- I never even talked to a guy named Richard- they are just trying to scam you out of your money! He told me that this was the THIRD time this month that Coast To Coast has done this to him and he is tired of it.
He said he will help me in every way possible to PROVE that they are committing internet FRAUD!! So I have 2 good ways to prove it! I recorded all my phone calls- both with Coast to Coast and my Mechanic. After Coast to Coast took the money out of my account they called the mechanic & told him that I canceled the agreement with them so he would have to deal with me directly and gave him all my contact info! He actually told me that JEFF from Coast to Coast told him to remove my whole TRANSMISSION and they would have someone go and pick it up! They actually tried to take my Transmission on top of the $1,497.00! Luckily the mechanic refused to do so and remains on my side!
Beware of these people. the people I dealt with were STEVE, JEFF, RICHARD, And RAYLENE- the so called manager! For those of you who have had a problem with these people I suggest you do the same that I did and file complaints with the BBB, FTC (Federal Trade Commission), and the Attorney General of the of Texas! Because I am taking this to the next level!
