On june 20th me an my family stayed at coco keys water resort in mount laurel new jersey.when we got in the bed thst night the bed the kids was in my cousin samaja was itching so she pulled the cover back an rolled over she jumped up because there wete three red bed bugs in the bed so we started killing them. Then i took pictures of them. Then i called the front desk an told them about the bed bugs they said ok we are sending somebody up there to check it out. When the guy got there i showed him the ones i killed but he didnt care he just automatically started looking for alive ones so then the front desk called him on his radio an he said negative. So they moved us to another room. That was nast also dark yellow urine stains all over the toilet. So finally i went to the front desk.an they told me therere was no manager or supervisor yhere to talk to come back at 8 am an talk to marie the manager. So i went back at 8 am an talk to marie that told me tgey never had a problem like this before except a long time ago. So they probably was ants. I felt insulted i said i know what ants look like. These were red bed bugs. So she ssid well there is nothing we can do about compensating you herenis 3 tickeys though to come back. So then later my daughter brittany wdnt back to the desk an someone else gabe her a card fir the coordinator andrew alexanders card an said call him. I called him he was very rude ssid oh well there is nothing we can do about what happened. He kept habging up on me so we just kept going back an forth si when i legtto go pack the car he ran inyo my daughter an told her her wanted to talk to me so he cAme yo yhe car an said he was sorry they dont take things like this lightly they were going to hire a outside inspector to come in sn he would get back yo me on tues the 24th. So on tuesday morning he callec me an ssid yhe inspector didnt find anything so he wasnt going to be able to compensate me for our visit. So i said to him well there were bed bugs in the bed an i have pictures to.prove it an he said he didnt care they werent giving me anything an hung up

After reading your report I reviewed your claims with the hotel managment and staff.

In regards to your claim that there were beb bugs in your guestroom. At the time of claim we immediatly investigate the room upon your request. Despite a negative finding during an internal investigation made by our trained engineering team, you were moved to another room in order to have a external professional company evaluate the room. Upon review by the external professional we were provided documentation that no evidence of bed bugs were found.

In regards to your concerns on the cleanliness of the room. Upon request a houseman was sent to the room immediatly to address any challenges with the cleanliness. The room was immediatly refreshed, however claims stated below were unfounded.

I would like to apologize however for the lack of guest service you felt your recieved. Any guest concerns are taken very seriously and we aim to address immediatly. You felt a lack of urgency and empathy from our team and for that I would like to apologize. I will surely follow up with our managment to ensure this is addressed.

Guest and staff safety, cleanliness and sanition are top priorties. For additional information and documentation, please contact the hotel directly.
