This company is the most unprofessional, incompetent company I have ever dealt with. I contracted with them to rent out my house in Harker Heights. I always immediately approved every repair and maintenance item tenants requested through them, but they failed to tell me about major items, causing the property to go downhill. At one point I had to hear directly from a neighbor that the fence was falling down -- the neighbors said Colonial had not listened to their complaints.

Now that I have decided to put it on the market, Colonial's failure to inform me of maintenance items will cost me thousands of dollars in what should have been small repairs, and in the time lost making repairs that could have been made months ago.

Everyone from the owner Patsy Cooney to the staff are rude, arrogant and hostile towards their customers. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE.

Like someone else I saw on this list, I have filed a complaint with the Austin BBB. I also intend to file a complaint with the Texas Real Estate Commission.

I challenge this homeowner to present evidence of their claim, PUBLICLY. We have hundreds of homeowners who are not only satisfied, but rave on our outstanding service. We contact our homeowners on all work requests & repairs needed. We keep documented proof for 7 years on our management properties. We provide management services at a competitive rate, and provide the best, friendliest service in the area. That's said to us multiple times a day by homeowners and tenants. Most of our tenants rent with us solely on the basis of our service, and the time and energy invested in them. If a neighbor makes a complaint or brings something to our attention, we are greatly appreciative, but we are limited to our discussion with someone who is not on the contract with that homeowner. We welcome a forum to prove that. We have not received any information from the Texas Real Estate Commission regarding this. Our duty to the homeowner is fiduciary, and to protect thier interest. We welcome "Anonymous-Tucker City, Wyoming" to contact us and provide any information regarding this claim. We will gladly investigate and research. It may not be the answer he wants, but I can be certain we followed the conditions and terms of the contract in full.
