Comcast Cable, Florida bad billing, bad faith in negotiating, combined with useless customer service Sarasota, Florida
In November my bill reached the tipping point and I decided to cancel. I called and Comcast offered to lower the bill the $30 to meet the FIOS price 0f $69.99. I agreed to stick with Comcast at this negotiated price. I have been traveling overseas, but here I am in March wondering how my $70 bill is now at $140 per month - I call and they say that's the way it is. Not only are they not honoring the deal we agreed to, they raised the rate from my call in November!
Customer Service cannot find the call where the price was reduced, nor can they find a reason for the price increases. They are completely unwilling to help beyond email and lip service. Talking to them is like talking to a hammer.
Beware, give them access to your bank account through automatic withdrawal and you will never even see how these prices rise, the money just comes out of your bank,
This is a serious problem, and if anyone else did it they would be looking at wire fraud. Someone in the AG's office needs to step up and force Comcast to clarify billing and require them to get consumer approval before billing and charging our banks.
