FRANKFORT,#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

I own a small floral shop and a gentleman came in and sold me a lease on a credit card machine and told me that I needed this new machine because my "old one" would not work with the new type of credit cards coming out with micro chips in them. So, I bought into this and this machine after 4 years will have cost me 1,920.A gentleman from my wire sevice came in and looked over the paper work and told me I got ripped off big time and that machine only costs around $400.And the interest rate he told me was only for a card being swiped not plunched in like most of my phone orders are. They said I can't cancel the lease and that I am stuck but I feel that was unfair. The name of the leasing company is globaltech leasing. Don't deal with them!

Filing a report with the BBB was a mistake, I know from experience with them currently that they are a waste of time. They would rather take money from the company to file them under a new member and give them a SATISFACTORY rating. If you hear anything from them, you'll recieve a letter stating that they contacted the company and feel that the company has done all they could, blah, blah. As to Comcast Corportate, I have also sent a letter to the president of Comcast. Their techs came to my home and snuck into my garage after I specifically told them not to. In turn one of the two messed with the door and locked it. My husband came home, hit the door button and it burnt the motor up. It cost us $550 to replace.I sent this letter certified because the Division of Comcast in my area refuses to do anything. First they say they'll pay for it, then they say they don't feel it's their fault. So, if they don't respond soon, I will be filing a lawsuit against them. When I spoke to their service rep at their corportate office I'm told not to pay my bill until this is resolved, yet, yesturday my cable was cut, surprise, surprise. If you don't file suit against them, the only thing else you can do is to file a regular consumer complaint with the AG of Marylandalong with the one you already have. Good luck!
