I moved into a Comcast service area and while I was looking for sign up deals, I found www.comcastoffers.com. They had a deal if I signed up for all three services I would get $200 in rebates. I signed up online and then a Comcast rep called to set up an install date.

Comcast came out and installed everything, I paid the install and first months charges $160 and everything seemed fine. I asked about the rebate and the installers told me it takes about a month to get it. The install was on May 8th, and here we are in August and I still do not have the rebate.

I have waited long enough and called Comcast again last Thursday and was told I would get a call back (I had called about a month ago) I did not get any call back so I called again yesterday (Aug 13th). This time someone told me that they were working on it and I would get a call back with an update. No call back so I called today and was told I would be called back within 24 hours.

When I am done here, I am going to file a complaint with my states Attorney General. Comcast offers is a fraud and Comcast tells me that they are not really Comcast. As a comsumer, I don't care! All I know is I signed up under their terms and I have paid my bills and they have not given me my rebate. So for now I am palying the waiting game. I will post an upade after I hear back from them.

Comcast resolved the problem

I spoke with Rose Anna Koss at Comcast and she worked on the problem for me. I did not know about the need for rebate forms and the email from Comcast was missing them. She called me and said that Broadband offers (Comcastoffers.com) would not do anything for me and offered to credit my account the $200. I wish that it would have not been such a hassle but, after talking to some that had the power to get things done, Comcast took care of me. I am once again a happy Comcast customer. I just got a letter from Mike Cox, the Attorney General of MI with an attached letter from Comcast. I was nice to see that he cared enought to follow up on my complaint. Scott
