Comcast cable quoted me a price and sold me an internet and cable package. When the installation came around the tech came with a bunch of faulty equipment, and I ended up with a digital box only. No hd dvr, hd box and converter box which I ordered. By the time they came back to replace what I had actually ordered a couple of months had passed. When I called in to check what my bill was, since I had not yet recieved one, My bill was sky high. Over four hundred dollars. The price I was quoted on the phone was 106.00 total a month. I asked if I was being billed for all the services I had not recieved and was told that in fact I was and a credit to the account would be made. I also at this time learned they were billing me a month in advance and a huge deposit. None of which I was informed of when I was sold the package. To go through all of the calls I have made regarding my bill would take days. Bottom line I paid what the representative told me to pay only to have my service shut off two days later. No one knows the number to corporate comcast and if you go to the corporate comcast web site the spout off about how comcast listens but give no contact info! They are stealing from people, using false advertising, and just flat out lying! They should not be able to get away with this! I was speaking to a representative fifteen minutes ago and was only on the phone with her for about two minutes when she hung up on me out of nowhere, and this is not the first time this has happened either. Comcast employees do whatever they want and it is rarely their jobs!
