I was sold this card on Nov. 14, 2018 by a young slick-talking salesman who called himself "Ray", and his direct line at Comdata was 770-582-8243. I have other cards that get back 2% on purchases, and the only reason I accepted this card was that Ray promised me 5% back, specifically for Home Depot and Lowes.

I am a contractor, and I shop there regularly. He reiterated this 5% deal over and over, and it was the central element of his presentation. It was the only reason I took the card, as it is set up like an AMEX to pay in full, and you can't carry a balance. When the credit didn't come on the first invoice, I called him, and he said I'll get it after a month.

And then when that didn't happen by February, I called customer service. They acted surprised about the 5% matter, and said the call would be "escalated" and I'd get a call back. The only thing that happened was i got the bill a few days later, and there was a credit for $25.05. So I called customer service, and was told I am now getting a 1% credit on all purchases.

I spent $4,218.01 from Nov 14 to Feb 16, and some more afterwards 2/16 to today 2/21, but I won't know the amount until I get the next invoice. At 5%, I am due back $210.90 just through 2/16, not $25.05. I will file a fraud with the federal government agency that handles bank fraud as well. The 5% wasn't the only lie. He told me it was not a MasterCard or a Visa, he told me I'd be billed monthly (I'm billed twice a month), and he told me I could pay it by phone with a credit card (I cannot, it must be from my bank account)
