Scammed me into buying tickets to a local event. I ordered 4 tickets worth under $100 and they charged me $274. The only thing I received was an email from an individual gmail address saying I should pick up tickets when I get to the event.

I contacted Vivid Seats to see if I could get a refund and they refused. They told me I paid the face value for the tickets even though I did not receive tickets. I contacted the event and they said there were plenty of tickets available ($27 face value for general admission adult and $12 for child).

this was a totally fraudulent business practice!!

 I went to their website and within just 45 SECONDS, not even being a customer, (and I never will), found in the Terms and Conditions the purchase was NON-REFUNDABLE! You come here crying, whining, wailing and stomping your feet to the world that you just can't stand the consequences YOU caused! Absolutely hilarious! So then, QUESTION ONE: These Terms and Conditions were in plain sight. Why didn't YOU use the FINANCIAL COMMON SENSE to READ what you were agreeing to BEFORE you agreed to it??? QUESTION TWO: In the conclusion of your posting, you told the world how you contacted the venue, AFTER THE FACT, to see if they had an abundance of available tickets and you inquired about the price. Since you very obviously knew the venue, why didn't YOU call them AHEAD OF TIME and ask the price and buy DIRECTLY FROM THE VENUE or their approved vendor instead of this trashy third party??? Again, absolutely incredible! What in the world is wrong with you people??? As this society continues to circle the drain, we see more and more of people like you without even a child size thimble full of FINANCIAL COMMON SENSE! Learn something...ALL THESE THIRD PARTIES ARE PURE SLIME BALL TRASH and that includes the third party reservation trash for hotels, airline tickets and car rentals. NOTHING has changed in either the reservation process or venue ticket process. YOU use COMMON SENSE and buy directly. You don't need ANY of this third party horse manure who LIE to you by telling you they have "special arrangements" to get things cheaper. NONE OF THEM DO! That's their way of attracting suckers and those who don't purchase such services regularly so they can be CONNED into buying from the third party trash. These third party pieces of manure will sometimes even make deliberate "mistakes" so they can KEEP YOUR MONEY which is refunded to them! The ONLY exceptions to this is some venues use an APPROVED THIRD PARTY to which the ticket selling process is subbed out. In travel, the ONLY exception is a legitimate, long established, local travel agency. The ONLY reason this third party trash continues to exist is because they know there is an abundance of people with little to no COMMON SENSE who think they need to call them instead of buying directly and you will find this generation is super top heavy with this lack of FINANCIAL COMMON SENSE!
