THEY RIP OFF THIER STUDENTS BY PROMISING FINANCING WITH 1000.00 DOWN,THEN WHEN YOUR HALF WAY THRU THEY SAY PAY IN FULL OR DON'T COME BACK. THEY CANCEL TRAINING WHENEVER THEY FEEL LIKE IT AND AS FOR TESTING YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN IT WILL GET DOWN. IF YOU FAIL THEY WANT MORE MONEY TO EVEN TALK TO YOU.
THEY'LL ACCEPT ANYONE EVEN IF THEY KNOW THAT YOU'LL NEVER GET A JOB DUE TO POOR DRIVING OR CRIMINAL BACKGROUND AS LONG AS THEY GET PAID THEY DON'T CARE.
WHEN YOU TRAIN WITH THEM THEY EXPECT YOU TO WASH THIER TRUCKS EVERY FRIDAY BEFORE YOU GO HOME AND AS THEY RUN A STEEL BUSINESS ON THE SIDE THEY MAKE YOU GO ON DELIVERY RUNS AND HELP UNLOAD, AND THIS IS ALL AFTER YOU PAY 5000.00 FOR THE TRAINING.
AS FOR THE PEOPLE THEY EMPLOY THIER ALL SCARED TO DEATH TO SAY ANYTHING OR THEY'LL LOSE THEIR JOBS. WE EVEN WATCHED HIM SCREAM AT ONE YOUNG LADY AND THROW HER OUT OF THE BUILDING IN A FIT. JUST BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T GET A PHONE # FROM A CALLER.AND THIS IS THE GUY THAT WAS DOING THE FINAL ROAD TEST.
I WENT THERE AND WAS SO UPSET WITH THERE TRAINING THAT I REFUSED TO EVEN FINISH ALTHOUGH MY COURSE WAS PAID FOR. ONE OF THE OFFICE GIRLS WHO HAD BEEN FIRED AND MOVED TO ANOTHER SCHOOL OFFERED TO FINISH MY TRAINING FOR FREE AND GET ME A JOB. THIER SCHOOL WAS THE EXACT OPPOSITE. WHATEVER YOU DO STAY AWAY FROM CDI TRUCK DRIVING SCHOOL IN SAGINAW MICHIGAN.

If the description is correct, the school would be a typical example of a CDL A Mill.

Dear Consumer, the complaint written in February of 2007 against CDI Truck Driving School of Saginaw Michigan is completely fictious nonsense. This letter was written by a past employee of CDI named Karen Lauzon-Bender of Bay City, Michigan. It is very apparent, and you may or may not have noticed that the letter was written by a Karen of Bay City, but was signed at the bottom by a Shane (??) It was also written in ALL CAPS, which was her style, which of course, is very non-professional. Ms. Bender was fired from this Corporation for deceptive student enrollment practices. She was accepting down payments from non-qualified students in order to boost her wages, and in addition, was found out to be soliciting motor carriers for "kick backs" which is entirely illegal and against our Company Policy. She stole private information when she was fired, and this information was ultimately found by the authorities in her possession, at another school (Tri-Area Driving School) located in Freeland, Michigan. This investigation is still ongoing, and does involve other members of that operation; so unfortunately, we are unable to discuss that matter further on this open forum. A steel company does lease a portion of this building, and students are given real-time, hands-on, freight training on occasion, but they are not allowed to load or unload the truck. Ask anyone of our students, and they will tell you, this is a much added benefit to our program, one that our competition will never be able to provide to their students. As for the balance of her statements, they are completely false. We do invite anyone that reads this complaint to contact our office, or stop by anytime for a visit to this facility. In addition, it is very important that if you researching truck driving schools, to contact the State of Michigan, Driver Programs Division, in Lansing Michigan to inquire if any of the licensed schools have legitimate complaints filed against them. Secondly, please look up their history with the Better Business Bureau at www.detroit.bbb.org This is a much better way to retrieve true and accurate information regarding the conduct and business practices of a school.
