CompUSA ripoff! Trains employees to lie and swindle public. Madison Heights Michigan
I visited the store looking for software to perform a specific task. As I am not savy on all the requirements, etc, I enlisted the help of what I took to be a manager (white shirt and all). After additional questions, he recommended specific software, guaranteeing it would "do the job".
Upon loading the software, I quickly determined it would not perform the task required. I attempted to return the merchandise to them - was told "open software not returnable" - even if their employee lied. I then tried to return directly to the software company. Their position is - "software not defective - not returnable." So now I'm out $50. I haven't gone back to their store since. And I no longer purchase software, supplies, etc for my employer from them. So they lost a LOT more than I did in the end.
