Conn's Appliance Tell Lies and Take Advantage of People Ripoff Beaumont Texas
I purchased a HD Projection T.V. less than two years ago. In June, I started having problems with the set. I called in a service order and someone came out. The service guy said he needed to order the part. He said it should only take 5 days to come in. He said if the part is on back order he would need to pick the set up and switch it out for another one.
After about a week I had not heard back from the service dept. I called to check on the status. The part was on back order is what I was told. It was due to be delivered in about a week or so.
One month went by no call, no part. I called the service dept. and Monica said she needed to check on the status, she would call me back. Another week went by no call, no part. I called back and spoke to another customer service who stated she would call me back. I refused to get off the phone until I spoke with a manager, Marilyn hung up in my face. I called every week for the next three weeks. All I heard was "the part is on back order", "there's no one else to assist you" and "someone will call you back".
Friday, Aug. 24 @ 4:30pm CST, I spoke with another customer service rep. she stated she needed to check the status. She placed me on hold to return with they will replace the T.V. She said she would put the information in and should have it approved by Monday Aug. 27. She would give me a call back at that time.
Thursday August 30 @ 8:02 am CST in one hour I had spoke with 10 different people, transferred 6 times, hung up on 2 times and given 4 different numbers to call. At 11:00am I spoke with Rachel and she promised to call me back within the hour. At 1:10pm I spoke with Mr. Finkle at Headquarters in Beaumont he promised to have someone in Service to return my call. At 3:20 I spoke with Delia, at 3:25 I spoke with Staci and at 3:26 I spoke with Chris who placed me on hold util 3:46.
At 3:58 I spoke with the Lead Service personnel who promised to have an answer...not a new part, not a new T.V but an answer by Thursday Sept. 6.
At 4:50pm Thursday Aug. 30, 2007 I still have no working television set. Conn's has to be the WORST company in the world. They LIE and take ADVANTAGE of innocent consumers. I plan to take my story and frustrations to all the local news stations as well as file a compliant with the Attorney General.
