I know that Conn's service is quite possibly the worst in the business. I have inside information on the trick that they use to "Repair". For instance your window unit is not working the supervisor at the service center instructs the techs to replace the compressor even if it is not the compressor, This holds true for all other Items and I really feel it is not very responable to the manufacturers when they have to warranty items for Conns when the supervisor is looking to make a little extra with the service ticket. I understand why a consumer could care less if the Executive shows up with a weed eater, Maybe he/she should show up more often on service calls and see just how they are ruining the Conn's company. They are truly living up to the name "CONNS" because that is what you get conned on these Item which normally are jacked up in price too.

I went and bought again thought it was just one bad person and maybe management had corrected the problems. And they sold the warranty and said while I was paying I had to deal with Conns if anything went wrong. And as far as the corporated guy bringing a replacement how log did diane have to argue. And how much out of pocket expense did she have long distance call and driving back and forth from store to store. Walmarts does there's maybe nicely but if you think conns is great go buy all you want. Im just tell what I been thru with them. Everyone has there opinion. Good Luck Hopefully Red Oak will have a experice for you like I received from are Conns store if not drive down I sure a out of towner is always welcome Because as stated I could not use the manafactures warranty that was the contract. And on the frig I was told the warranty would cover everything it did not. But I dont shop there anymore

Diane, I understand your frustration with Conn's regarding the Equipment you purchased. However Conn's only sells the merchandise. They are not the manufacturer. You can't expect them to work miricles with faulty equipment. If they had been so irresponsible with they're customer service, why did you proceed to yet purchase another item from the company. I advise you to always check the manufacturers warranty on any items you purchase. Even if not from Conn's. Some will allow you to exchange the merchandise for exact or equal value of the same brand. I know how difficult purchasing lawn care equipment can be. And I also know that it is not the stores fault if it is faulty equipment. Walmart exchanged mine without any hassles. Equal value.

As a company we were at fault, but we have taken care of our customer. It has been some time but I remember one morning a vistor from the executive team from the corporate office showed up to my store. He explained to me he had came to town to pick up a weedeater to personally hand deliver this product to an upset customer that we had not taken care of properly. I was amazed that this gentleman drove 5hrs from our corprate office to handle this customer personally. How's that for customer service, how many companys do you know where an executive drives across the state to take care of a customer at her home. Why didn't the customer mention that in her report. In August we exchanged Diane's old refrigerator for a diffrent model.
