Consolidate Media Services Aka CMS Mislead Rip off Atlanta Georgia
CMS called me in July of 2002 claiming to be my credit card company with a great deal (they were NOT my "cc" company and has absolutely no affiliation with my "cc" company, so how did they already have my "cc" information?) They said they were going to give me four magazine for the price of one that will come for three years! I agreed, being that I was already in bed asleep, and obviously had forgotten that I do know better!
Instead of getting four magazines, I'm getting eight because they doubled my subscription! I'm a single mom, I work two jobs, I don't have time to read any magazines, far less the money to pay for them. So they're billing my credit card every month which knocked me over my credit limit, so the credit card company is billing me the interest on it, PLUS $29 a month for being over my limit and $29 a month for not paying the minimum payment fee (which is $339 since I'm so far out!)
I have been calling CMS since December, waiting on hold for up to 4 1/2 hours, with no one answering the line. One night I waited until 9:30 p.m. until my phone died...called back from my cell...they closed at 8:30 p.m. but no one came to the phone to tell me that!
I wrote them a letter asking for someone to PLEASE contact me as I have no luck contacting them. Someone called me at home, when I had mentioned in the letter to call me at work during those hours, and left me a number with a phony extension saying that I had entered an invalid code!!
So what do I do? If any of you have had real success with these folks feel free to contact me on this site.
