Villa del Palmar’s Sales Practice has a well recognize reputation for the lies, scams and most likely to misrepresented the contract at the moment of signing. Villa del Palmar sales associate like any other sales person will tell you all the wonders you want to hear to make a purchase, most timeshare presentation last 90 minutes, but at Villa del Palmar you can be up to 4 hrs in there.

Thanks for adding your comments. I am currently disputing the matter with the Villa group developers and they have been extremely unresponsive. Its been over six months and finally I got one person to respond to my constant emails.
In the mean time they still have not refunded my down payment and I have been constantly receiving threatening letters Resortcom saying that they will place my account in collections. I would just warn you about falling for other scams where companies and agencies claim they can get you out of the contract for a fee - Be very careful about believing them.
I already paid over $2000 to a third party company that made this claim and am sitll woking with them to see if they can help me get out of the contract. They are helping but its been very slow, and I have to keep hassling them with emails.

My wife and I just got stuck in this mess. We are currently in process of disputing. I want to find someone who can show me where to find legal definition that we have right to refund. We have our contract in suspended phase right now where they are trying to sell us smaller package for less. Yes, we are being threatened if we don't go with it we will lose entire deposit. We too contacted the UVC in California. I have recorded conversation of representative telling me we couldn't cancel.
I also have recorded conversation of representative from Cabo saying he would cancel but would not refund deposit. They State that deposit is like Escrow account. They have page where we initialed saying deposit was non refundable. We heard all the same promises as they poured the alcohol on(this was our honeymoon). Need to decide something fast on our end. Any wisdom on how to get our deposit back would be greatly appreciated. I'm with the rest of ya'll "Fraudulent". See that they managed to get there F rating off of BBB site as well. How the heck did they pull that with all these complaints. It's pretty much blank.
