I applied for an online payday loan on dec 28 2009. On dec 29 a check was posted to my acct for 69.95.I called the phone number on the check to find out what I was payingf for.The lady told me it was some thing I signed up for when I applied for the loan. She cancelled my "subscription" and said I could get a refund by returning the package they are sending return to sender. She said i could get a refund in 30 days or get $57 back in a week. The agent was very sympathetic and told me she does over 80 cancellations a day and knows what this company is doing is illegal.
I filed a complaint on the ic3 website and also with the ftc. I am in the process of notifing the Vegas police and Nevada BBB.I hope all other victims also file as many complaints as possible to stop this company from its deceptive practices. If they are taking money from over 80 people a day,I wonder if there could be a class action lawsuit filed against them.

On jan 11th I received a check in the mail from consumer advance credit for the amount of $69.95. I deposited in my account today,if it doesnt bounce I will pleasantly surprised they actually did what they said they would do.The check came from New Economy Planning, from the same Vegas address.I hope everyone else got their refund.I know wht they did originally was wrong ,but if the check is good i will be satisfied they made up for their "error"
