Purchased an extended warranty on-line from Continental Waranty, a division of MCG Enterprises, Inc. in Malibu, California in July of 2004. The first time a claim was presented (January 2006), for a failed Blower motor and resistor assembly, the Administrator, Royal Administration Services, told the Ford Repair shop that the parts are not covered. This despite the blower motor being listed in the contract.

On June 25, 2007, the Ford shop diagnosed a bad Cam Synchronizer Assembly as causing the miss during drive cycle with engine RPM above 3000. Once again the Administrator's answer is "Parts not covered".

I called Royal Administration Services at 888-813-8660 this morning (June 27th) and spoke with "Kristen". Quote "If the specific name of the part is not spelled out exactly in the contract then it is not covered."

Contract is carefully written to exclude those parts whose names are unique to the manufacturer. This is a very Expensive lesson (over $1600 cost to me) in how crooked the Extended Vehicle Warranty Coverage business is. This really should be called an Extended Vehicle Warranty Coverage Racket.

This company should be run out of business and the associated "Administrator" for them boiled in used motor oil.
