I ordered outdoor lighting from them. The piece on the web looked nice, beautiful solid white ball-shaped lights to put on garage.

When items were deliverd, they were cheap milky white, glass balls that looked nothing like the items that were advertised. It looked like somebody put them together at home. The color was totally different, and they looked like cheapest lights you can find at value story despite price (about $50 each).

The company promised to take them back for full refund, but requested wording on copy of faxed back invoice stating agreement to "restocking fee" (supposedly just formality). Items were shipped and credit was not posted.

After multiple calls (maybe 15 ones that nobody wanted to take) - I learned that credit was never processed. After another 5 calls, they processed partial credit, of course less "restocking fee" (supposedly verbal deal was not valid).

I finally bought lights at Home Depot and I am happy camper. Beware this place! I was told they do not care about guys like me. They heavily advertiseon Lycos, beware....

They screw up my order, sent me some other company invoice. I had asked that is imperative that I receive from order on Friday. Since they have waisted a day by messing up the invoice, I asked them to honor they agreement and pay for the difference between the three day shipping and the two days shipping. This is where it got interesting, they immediately told me that they are laughing at this proposition, then when I got frustrated, they threatening me that they will charge my card, will not send me the goods and give my credit card number on the internet and hang up the phone on me. They are very RUDE and unprofessional. I called my credit card company to alert them. The guy's name at CCL is "Will", he is arrogant and un-professional.

Warranties / Guarantees: All brass and copper materials are guaranteed to be resistant against material corrosion and rust for the for the life of the unit. Finish, color, powder coating, on any fixture, whether made out of Brass, Aluminum or any type of material are only covered for one year. However, premature (meaning before the one year period) discoloration, oxidizing, chipping, scratches, peeling, pitting, cracking, bubbling of finish on any of our fixtures claimed before the one year period or after will not be covered if it is determined that the fixture was exposed to harsh conditions, scratched or damaged physically, abuse, or incorrect installation, no up-keep, extreme heat/sunlight, hard/harsh water, damaged caused by wind, rain or snow. Premature (meaning before the one year period) discoloration, oxidizing, chipping, scratches, peeling, pitting, cracking, bubbling of finish on any of our fixtures that was not caused by exposer to harsh conditions, scratched or damaged physically, abuse, or incorrect installation, no up-keep, extreme heat/sunlight, hard/harsh water, damaged caused by wind, rain or snow will be refinshed by us at no charge to customer. However customer must pay for all shipping expenses which means shipping these items back to us for refinishing and customer must pay the cost of shipping the refinished unit back to the customer's location. Aluminum or any non-brass or non-copper or non-composite material will only be covered against rust and not corrosion or any other damage for one year from date of purchase as aluminum will eventually corrode. To all concerned: I own a large Commercial Lighting Company. We have been in business for over twenty years. We buy from over 1000 legitimate suppliers. I have visited this site intending on buying exterior step lighting fixtures. According to the product description(s) evading to express written and/or implied warranties and specific lifetime warranties, as well as descriptions of high quality powdercoating finshes and quality products I was interested in buying the products. When I called the company to place an order I immediately sensed problems with the company's professional manner. There was excessive hold time, and I talked to several different individuals. One young lady was very rude and sarcastic. Her behavior was much in kind with Seinfeld's n**i soup kitchen. Even so I continued my inquiry asking for a sample of the product. Even willing to pay for the sample. I was advised NO samples were available and I Must buy a minimum of $100.00. Even so I decided I would buy the minimum order and treat the product as sample(s). I placed the order and was told I must get a two page fax, sign both faxes and fax back to the company. When I receieved the faxes I was astounded and perplexed to find several hundred words articulating disclaimers basicly in legal jargon describing any/all warranty null/void. Any problems with the product result in NO REFUND, the consumer MUST pay all shipping both ways on all returns with huge restocking percentiles, NO RETURN FOR REFUND. Exchange ONLY with additional restocking fees and warranty disclaimers. The verbage specific to disclaiming any all warranty written or implied. Any further problems must be resolved in court in California in the company's venue only. By signing these forms and faxing them the consumer signs away any/all rights to warranty and/or reasonable refund if not satisfied with the product. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and sure enough they have an F rating. The worst rating they could have. Dozens of complaints. The BBB also states the company refuses correspondence from the BBB. I contacted the company again advising that I was going to pursue an investigation about their questionable business practices. The owner of the company replied that he has been sued many, many times and always wins. Further told me that he would sue me for slander and that he could use a new beach house but doubted I had that kind of money. My intent is not slander. I want the consumer to be advised that this company is selling a product you are forced to buy and keep a minimum of $100.00 per transaction. I am sure there are more significant purchases that have been a disappointment as well. If a company is selling quality products and are willing to stand behind them they would be willing to provide/sell samples in gaining a trust in their customers. This company is at best questionable in it's business practices. BUYER BEWARE.

Dear Sir/Madam Our terms of sale make it clear that outdoor items are hand made per order and are non returnable unless defective. Our web site also makes it clear that colors photographed are impossible and can not match actual items reeived, for many reasons, such as your monitor settings, scanning and photo reproduction process. This customer and all customers must agree to these terms before buying otherwise the order will not be processed. This customer agreed and when they called to return the items we agreed to waive the non return policy and charge a restocking fee which is also posted on the same terms of sale that this customer agreed to. The customer wrote us a letter in his own hand writing and signed this letter agreeing to the restocking fee. We truly helped and went out of our way for this customer. Which is why we are shocked at this complaint. We did everything the customer asked us to do.
