A representative of IDCSERVCO named John Victor (accent) explained to me that his company forgot to mail out a price increase letter. For their mistake, they would sell me toner "cartridges" at last years rate. He indicated that the Shipping department would call to confirm my address, etc.

A shipping guy called to say that he wanted to confirm my address, telephone, and fax. The address they had on file was from FIVE years ago (first red flag) and that I needed to fax back the signed acknowledgement to have everything shipped.

1 - My copier takes cannisters, not cartridges. 2 - A box of two cannisters from OfficeDepot cost me $75, and they wanted to charge me $349. 3 - They had to call and confirm I was using a specific copier when they should have that information already if it was a renewal of our contract!!

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. HANG UP WHEN THEY CALL!

Continuing to terrorize my company

A representative, named Jim Snodgrass, helped me to redirect a shipment to another office in my company. I called the person before Jim could call back to confirm the address and averted a $700 charge for two toner cannisters. His name, again, was Jim Snodgrass and his extension at 1-800-446-9835 is 580. I'm sure it will change like the last persons extension, but at least I stopped another rip-off on toner.
