Cornerstone Crossing, Las Vegas I first rented one aptartmet, which I was taken off the lease and rented a second apt in cornerstone crossing, they have never taken my name off the lease after twice the people living in the Apartment took it off and I am responsible for it and still live here in another apartment. When I first moved into apartment 384, I was there a month and decided to move out and get another apartment and leave the apartment for my son who is 20 and his no longer very violent friend who was 26 yrs old. I went to the office and explain that I was afraid of this 26 year old kid and I had to move, they proceeded to give me another apartment.
At the same time I also told them that the 26 yr old never gave his dog deposit. They seemed to not care about the $500.00 dog deposit from this Violent kid. I also told them the dog was peeing everywhere and that the 26yr old punched a hole in his bedroom door. Again ignored. My son and his 26 yr old friend went to the office to take my name off the lease, so I thought it was all set. Then I received a notice for rent for that apt 384, that I was no longer in. I proceeded to go into the office again and was told not to worry, my name was off the lease.
Then the older kid kicked my son out, so I went to the office and told them, again they said he would have to go in to take my son off the lease, so he did exactly that. Within a week, the office manager saw him movng his stuff out of the apartment knowing he was the last one left and she did nothing about it. I live behind the office. When rent became due. I went in and paid for mine and my son's rent. Then I went and had a notirized letter that I had written out dropped off at the office on the 4th day of June, 2009 on the 8th of June, 2009 I received a letter of rent or quit for that apartment.
I am in awe at this point because knowone here in the office seems to do anything about anything that is important it appears that the only thing they know how to do is write leases and act like they are your friend until you move in. Then they treat people like you are so below them. I went to court to try to get the proper paperwork but I'm not sure what paper work I should get and in the past rent letter they sent to me by mail, I received on the 8th, when the letter said they needed rent or quit by the 5th, again I live right behind the office. In a different apartment. My name should have been off the lease twice. They look at the computer, but type in NOTHING!!!
Whenever I have been in the office, they are all on their cell phones. I have been in there with complaints of my new apartment 3 times, they have still not all been resolved. I stopped going and asking for them to fix it. And te cars park so close that trying to get out of my spot one day with my Caddilac, it was so tight my front side bumper hit the pool recking my car.
I went to the office and they responded with ( oh sorry nothing we can do.)Also I went in (before the Office manager saw the last person moving out in #384) and told them 3 to 4 times about his dog recking the apartment and how bad it smelled and about the door he punched a hole in, and the office manager that saw him moving out, her knowing that should have called the police.
I was in Property Management for 10yrs and never have I seen a place so poorly run. I would have fired everyone in the office for the way not only me, but numerous other people being treated. Then the grounds are disgusting. There is trash everywhere and roaches none stop. The pools are shut down and one of them, the other night my kids went to go to and in was infested with roaches jumping in the pool, The pool in front of my unit, behind the offce has been fixed and refixed then they set up all the furniture like it was open and it still is locked up. There are 3 pools and only one in use and we are half way through June.
If I knew any better, Domino's won't even deliver pizza here. When I was renting they told me it was so awesome here in the office, that is called fraudulant Advertising. I come from Boston and never have I seen anything run so poorly and kept up so poorly. These are what is calles slum lords which I have never in my life been involved in until now. And now they want to ruin my rental credit with an apartment my name was taken off of 2 times, Something really needs to be done here. It needs a whole clean out inside the office and outside on the grounds. And in Roaches are out of control even when you are walking up the sidewalk to my apartment. It is discusting.
