I contacted Mr. Corretti on HelloTrade.com inquiring about purchasing some
apple iphones for my business. At first he told me he was from Germany (later it was UK,
and then finally Africa). So I asked to see a
photo of his mobile phone store and his warehouse (to prove he is legit). Well,
he sent me a stupid photo of a The Carphone Warehouse store from the UK, but
blotched out the world 'car' and tried to say his store name was The Phone
Warehouse and that was just a German symbol that got messed up in the scanning.
I told him this is a phony image and that I know its of The Carphone Warehouse
store. Finally, he admitted it was false.
He still thought I would buy from him, so I told him to prove himself after
he lied, to take a photo of himself next to his apple inventory. Of course he
refused, offered to do anything but that. Then when I wouldnt buy from him
called me poor. Now that I have gone to the sites that his company was on and
told them that hes a scammer he is threatening to come up here and not only
kill me but do voodoo on me. Do not do business with this man! He will probably
just get a new fake name and start another fake company and try to scam more
people, so be careful about who you buy from!
Never use western union, money gram, or bank transfer!! Always buy from
traders or companies you do not know with paypal, escrow, or a secure online
credit card system! And ask them to prove they are legit, ask for photos of
their store, warehouse, inventory, employees, etc. Also, if they have a website
go to who.is and check and see when the site was created. If it was created
just a few months ago and they only registered it for a year then they are
probably scammers, who constantly change their website name after scamming
enough people. Also, electronics has the most scammers, so be careful
when looking to buy from suppliers.
