Hey future possible candidates trying to make business with Costa Rica's Call Center or finding a job at Costa Rica's Call Center, DO NOT GO THERE everything there is a SCAM. Starting off with Richard Blank, he is so full of s**t, with all his jab about his full staffed professional team, listen Grace Borbon is not even educated, she has no experience in Human Resources, she does have experience baking burgers for all we know which by the way is Richard's Fianc, not that we have anything against people flipping burgers at Fatty Pigs Burgers. richard charges $3000.00per agent to the clients without them knowing that we recieve a salary of $700.00 per month with out any right to a raise or even for commision. By the way the bathroom stalls reak, they are full of s**t always and they "high management"has thentoilet papers inside a cabinet sothat us the employees may not have access to it, how about that. Coffee? Coffee there sucks big time, coffee is never there you see the machine on but no coffee for us employees. High tech computers, bullshit guys wake up all of this is a scam, the computers are nasty they are from the early 90's and used bought at a thrift dtore. Cubicles are dirty, full of gum and divided by plywood and covered with rugs. WTF!!!!! Do not fall for this type of BULLSHIT! Some of the campaigns names are: websavers club (complete scam steal money fromcustomers) grant helpcenter (scam complete stealingmoney formcustomers on a daily basis) not tpo even mention credit solutions as well another SCAM, where do you want your reputation to fall in to this hole, wakeup. We are not professionals that are being hired as you seeon their main web page www.costaricascallcenter.com

We arejust guys looking forajob that have a reputation ofeither working for other scams and/or sportsbook. The campaigns are signed on a monthly basis, what you think about that!... And having a 14 year old working under these poor conditions? That isagainst the law!

I cannot for the life of me understand why people would find it important to equate bathroom toilet paper with someone's education. I am a current employee of the company. I was there in the beginning, several years ago, left, then came back. There are some things that are right, some that need improvement, and others that, according to me, should not exist at all.
As I read the negative review above, I can only see angry thoughts come through in a flood, I read them, look around, and have to laugh because they are simply not true.

First of all, none of the employees here have access to the information on how much money CEO Richard Blank charges per employee to his clients, if it is a monthly or per hour base pay, etc. since we are not present during the negotiations with the customers we represent on the phone. We get paid by Costa Rica's Call Center, not directly by the client. If you would like to work for the client you claim is a scam as well, then may I suggest you contact their HR Department. If you were unhappy with the salary you received here, then it was best you left, don't you think?

As for the cubicles, they have never been carpeted, do not lie. They might be small, if you are a large person, or require a lot of space to put your coffee mug, but do not lie and state things that are simply not true.

As for Grace Borbon's educational background, well, unless you have need and proof that she has none, then please keep your opinion to yourself. Some of us have had to flip burgers in order to continue our education and it has paid our way through college. Is that such a bad thing? I mean, you are making fun of something that many people here in Costa Rica consider a career, like flipping burgers, just because you want to, and that, sir, is mean.

That Grace Borbon is Mr. Blank's wife is completely irrelevant since there are many such partnerships that have created great companies, just look at Carl's Jr, for example - which, incidently, is a burger place.

If you have any proof that there is or was a minor working under such deplorable conditions as decribed, then why did you not report it to the appropriate authorities?

Bathroom stalls are clean, functional and with toilet paper in them, always have been and so far they are well stocked.
As for the coffee, well, that is one of the areas of improvement. I just wonder if that is why your angry words ring of emptiness when I read them, because of coffee? Really?

Now, let's move on to the areas of improvement. Yes, the computers can be faster, better looking, less bulky. And guess what? They are! I have a flat screen monitor on my cubicle, the computer I use was just replaced for a better one and the internet flows perfectly on the applications I need to do my job. Granted, I do not use my work computer to play the latest video games or to watch videos on youtube, but they work to do my job. I remember the computers on the early 90's, and let me tell you, these are not anything compared to those, by far! But to be fair, yes, it takes a little while for the computers to be exchanged for better ones, but even when we receive the latest of technological wonder, in a few months those become obsolete, and we have to start all over again.

You have not raised, a single item that is valid or proven to be true. Not one. And as proof that what I am saying is true, I still work here, and no, I am not a scam artist, a fake, a poser, or anything of the sort. I am, however, a college educated ESL / EFL professional, who has decided to work here, and am not afraid to use my real name, Alex Silva.

As an after thought, may I suggest you use a spell check program before posting something on the Internet, because your grammar is atrocious!

I must say that even though the first time I went to apply to this company I wasn't so sure of it (and I actually didn't participate as an employee back in the day), the need for a job among other things lead my way back into their doors.

I must say I haven't seen much of what was reported on this ripoff report, so far I have been treated with decency and the accounts seem legit, at least more legit than other companies were I have work for where you can totally question the nature of the accounts.

I can't say it's perfect but to me it's a lot better and more legit than other call centers in this country, where the facilities are top of the line and the accounts are shady as f**k, not to mention the management personal in general.

The bathrooms are very decent and clean and there's toilet paper in all of them. The cubicles or stations have no rugs on them as far as I can see, they are pretty decent.

Maybe Richard had a rough start, it happens to us all whenever starting a business, but I think he is doing way better now. So far can't really say I have any complaints about the company.
